1. Your agreement with Recily
Recily is operated by Motty Alibin Shanu K K, an individual based in India. These terms govern the Recily app and public website. By using Recily, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. The Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. The creator affiliate program has separate Affiliate Terms & Conditions and an Affiliate Privacy Policy.
The Recily team handles support, complaints, infringement reports and legal notices on behalf of the operator at support@recily.app. Creator program enquiries go to contact@recily.app.
2. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 13 years old to create or use a Recily account. If local law requires a higher minimum age for independent account use, that higher age applies. If you have not reached the age of majority, you must have the permission and involvement of a parent or guardian required to enter this agreement. Parental supervision or agreement to these Terms does not replace a legally required consent process for personal information. Recily does not currently offer a verified parental-consent account-creation process; do not create an account where such consent is required until an appropriate process is available. A parent or guardian should supervise younger users around kitchen equipment, heat and ingredients. The separate creator affiliate program is restricted to people aged 18 or older.
Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials and tell us promptly about suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account.
3. Free access and paid features
Free users can unlock and view up to 150 eligible recipes from Recily’s catalog. Some special or premium recipes are excluded from the free allowance. The paid subscription provides unlimited eligible recipe access and the premium features described in the app’s purchase screen. This does not guarantee that every external link can be imported or that every source is available.
When a subscription expires, your saved content remains stored and accessible while your account remains active, subject to these terms. Premium actions, including adding recipes to groceries and using cook mode, require an active paid entitlement. Account deletion, lawful content removal and service changes can affect stored content as described in these terms and the Privacy Policy.
4. Your content and import permissions
You keep the rights you hold in content you provide. You give Recily the limited permission needed to host, process, extract, store, display and troubleshoot that content to provide the service. This permission does not give Recily a general right to use your private content in marketing.
Only import material you are entitled to use. A publicly accessible link does not transfer copyright or override a source’s terms. Respect original creators and any attribution requirements. Your personal library, private uploads, notes and edits are private to your account. Separately, recipe extraction results from eligible public links may be reused for the same public source for up to 14 days; private or user-specific inputs are excluded from that shared cache.
AI recipe imports send the text, photos, scans, links and linked recipe content you select to Recily’s servers and Microsoft Azure OpenAI for recipe extraction. This may include personal information within the content. Version 1.0 build 19 and later starts this processing when you initiate an import, without a separate AI permission prompt. Use manual recipe entry if you do not want to send content for AI extraction. See the Privacy Policy for further details about processing and storage.
5. Recipe accuracy and cooking safety
AI extraction, transcription, recipe instructions, nutrition estimates, dietary filters and recommendations can be incomplete or wrong. Check ingredients, quantities, substitutions, cooking temperatures and instructions before cooking. Verify allergens against original sources and product labels, and take appropriate food-hygiene precautions.
Recily does not provide medical advice or dietary treatment and cannot guarantee that a recipe is safe for a particular person. Seek appropriate professional advice for medical or dietary needs. These cautions do not remove any responsibility or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
6. Subscriptions, prices and trials
All current Recily subscriptions are billed through Apple’s App Store. Monthly and annual plans are available. Annual offers may include a standard 7-day trial or a 14-day trial for eligible referral users. Trials and introductory offers depend on Apple’s eligibility rules and the offer presented to you; confirming a referral code alone does not guarantee a trial.
The purchase screen shows the price in your App Store currency, billing period, included features, trial duration and price after the trial. Review those details before confirming a purchase. No trial should be assumed unless it is displayed in your purchase offer. Apple handles payment and any applicable billing taxes.
7. Renewal, cancellation, restoration and refunds
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, as described in Apple’s purchase terms. A free trial converts to the paid subscription shown in the offer unless canceled before its applicable deadline. Apple may charge your account for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
Manage or cancel through Apple subscription settings. Access ordinarily continues for the remaining paid period; trial access may end sooner under Apple’s rules. Deleting the app or your Recily account does not cancel a subscription. Use Restore Purchases with the Apple account that made the purchase if an existing entitlement is not recognized.
Apple handles App Store billing and refund requests through its purchase-support process. Recily does not promise a refund outside Apple’s process or any mandatory rights you have. Contact support@recily.app for help with access problems. Apple’s applicable App Store terms and standard End User License Agreement also apply to the app where applicable.
8. Referral benefits
An eligible new user must explicitly confirm a valid creator code within 30 days of creating their Recily account. The first valid confirmed code is retained and cannot be replaced with another creator’s code. Opening a referral link or installing the app alone does not complete confirmation. If automatic link handling fails, use the available code-confirmation flow.
An eligible trial or first purchase must occur within 30 days after the code is claimed to qualify for referral conversion. Offer eligibility also depends on prior trial or purchase history and Apple’s rules. The eligible 14-day annual trial must be shown in the purchase offer. Self-referrals, duplicate accounts and artificial activity are not permitted. We may investigate and correct invalid or fraudulent attribution.
9. Acceptable use and rights reports
Do not use Recily unlawfully, infringe others’ rights, impersonate anyone, upload harmful or unlawful material, introduce malicious code, interfere with service security, bypass paid access or usage limits, or generate fraudulent referral or purchase activity. Use third-party sources only in ways you are authorized to use them.
For an infringement report, send support@recily.app your contact details, the work or right concerned, the relevant source and Recily material or link, and an explanation of the issue and your authority to report it. The team will review reports and may request more information or restrict material where appropriate. Reports and complaints should be accurate and made in good faith.
10. Recily materials and external services
Recily’s branding, interface, software and original materials are protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may use them as needed to use the service in accordance with these terms. No ownership is transferred, and rights granted by applicable law remain unaffected.
Features and supported import sources may change. External websites, social platforms, Apple and other providers can change availability, permissions or technical access, so imports and third-party functions may sometimes fail. Their applicable terms govern your use of their services.
11. Suspension, closure and stored content
We may restrict content or suspend access where reasonably needed to address a material breach, fraud, a security threat, an infringement complaint or a legal obligation. We will give notice and an opportunity to resolve an issue where appropriate and practicable. Contact support@recily.app if you believe a restriction is mistaken.
You can stop using Recily or delete your account through Profile. Deletion removes active app data through the deletion process; limited records may remain as described in the Privacy Policy. If your identity is shared with a creator account, contact creator support to coordinate access and retained payout records. Cancel Apple subscriptions separately. If material service changes or closure affect paid access, mandatory notice, refund and other consumer rights continue to apply.
12. Responsibility and consumer protection
We work to provide a useful, reliable service, but do not promise uninterrupted availability or error-free recipes, imports or AI results. Each party remains responsible for its conduct under applicable law. Third-party services and content may affect your experience.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, or removes mandatory consumer warranties, remedies or other protections. These terms do not impose a mandatory arbitration requirement or a waiver of class or collective rights.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to any mandatory protections available under the laws of your place of residence. Disputes may be brought before the competent courts in India, without restricting any right you have under mandatory law to bring a claim in your local courts.
You can first contact support@recily.app so the Recily team can try to resolve a complaint. Contacting support is not a condition that prevents you from using legal remedies available to you.
14. Changes and contact
We may revise these terms to reflect service or legal changes. The last-updated date identifies the revision. We will provide notice and obtain any acceptance required by applicable law; changes will apply as permitted by that law. If you no longer agree, you may stop using the service and exercise your applicable rights. These terms are currently provided in English.
