How to get started

  1. Choose the source

Start with a supported public recipe link, copied recipe text, a photo, a screenshot or a scanned page that you are entitled to use.

  2. Import and check the details

Import the content in Recily, then review the extracted ingredients, quantities and cooking instructions against the original. AI extraction can make mistakes.

  3. Save it for cooking

Keep the reviewed recipe in your library. When you are ready to cook, adjust the servings or add its ingredients to your grocery list.

Your questions, answered

Which recipe sources can I import?

Recily supports recipe imports from supported websites and social posts, as well as photos, screenshots, scanned pages and your own notes. Source access matters: a private post, removed page or restricted website may not be available to import. A link alone does not guarantee a successful import.

What if a recipe link will not import?

Check your connection and make sure you can open the original source. If a source restricts access, try a supported public link or use your own text or image. You can also enter a recipe manually. The support page has help for import issues and a link to service status.

What should I check after importing?

Check ingredient amounts, cooking times and temperatures, and the order of the steps against the source. Pay particular attention to allergens and food safety. Recipe extraction helps organize the information; it does not verify that the recipe is safe for your needs.

How is imported content handled?

AI imports send the content you choose to Recily’s servers and Microsoft Azure OpenAI to extract recipe details. Your saved library is private to your account. See the Privacy Policy for details about processing, storage and the separate cache for eligible public links.
